No basta

No basta

No bastan las palabras. No basta la sonrisa en una imagen. No basta escuchar la voz del ser amado en un audio. Y tampoco basta hacer amores en formatos digitales. Aunque quizás todo eso sea bello, el cuerpo se conforma fácilmente, porque es carne débil, y porque anhela ser feliz en el momento. Mas sin embargo, el alma no se satisface con solo instantes. Y al espíritu no le basta amar así, porque cuando el amor es real, el corazón anhela compartirlo todo con la persona que ama, en tiempo presente, y mirando hacia el futuro.

Words are not enough. The smile in an image is not enough. It is not enough to hear the voice of the loved one in an audio. And it is not enough to make love in digital formats. Although perhaps all of that is beautiful, because our body's are easily pleased, and because it is weak flesh, and because it longs to be happy in the present. However, the soul is not satisfied with just moments. And it is not enough for the spirit to love like that, because when love is real, the heart wants everything with the person that we loved, right in the present, and looking towards the future.
