I loved you.

I´m writing this to say "goodbye",
to someone who I loved the most,
the person that went so deep into my heart,
and at the end, I had to let go.

We were so different in everything,
you know, "opposites attract".
at first we thought it was charming,
in physics, obviously, it's a fact.

ventually the enchantment faded,
the charm of our differences
annoyed us, and it wasn't even intended,
and it just brought us... it drowned me in tears.

I loved you with all my heart and soul,
but I was losing myself in the process,
I changed my ways and expected the same,
but in the end, I surrendered, I must confess.

Now I am here, writing this,
I miss you, but it will pass,
I hope you have a good life,
May your dreams come true at last.
